Kurt Cobain's husky voice and the sound of a guitar pounding in the back of my head wakes me up in the middle of God-knows-where. While I try to focus my eyes trying to make some sense of the scenario surrounding me, something catches my attention: a seagull standing on the edge of the windowrail.
As I walk closer to the feather guy the breeze of the ocean wakes me up at last, and while I lost myself into the view of the sun rising over the mountains I take a deep breath and remember that I am not alone in that room.
I turn just in time before he calls my name and reaches for my hand, as he pulls me back into bed and holds me from behind I think that we are the perfect fit to each other, feeling as I always do when I'm in his arms, that nothing can go wrong.
It is just him and me, both naked in soul and body, nothing between us but the purest desire to be together even if for the last time.
