Night Train.

Night train that goes passing by
taking inside you the Traveling man,
looking for smoky places where he can forget about his loneliness.

Let me in, Traveling man, let me go with you.
I want to find out what have they done to the rain
and why the sun hurts when it touches me.
Why isn't the sky as blue as it used to be?
What have people done to the earth,
that the air is so cold and so filthy now.
What have you done to the seas and lakes
that there is no more life down there.
What have we done to the world, to the life,
to the nature...

Would you care, Traveling man, for a little starving boy
just enough to stop your trip around this mad land?

Night train that comes passing by
taking inside you that old Traveling man,
looking for peaceful places
where he can enjoy the beauty of life.

Let me in, Traveling man, let me be with you.
Let me call you: sweetheart, together we shall overcome.
